Soft-Lite Gorell's AC Master® Low-E glass option is often called “All Climate” glass because of its consistent, overall thermal performance year-round. While it's typically the glass of choice in southern areas of the country because of its ability to reflect radiating heat from window exteriors, it is equally effective at keeping heat inside homes in cold weather.

Practically every vinyl window made by Soft-Lite Gorell incorporates one of our many high-performance glass systems with low-emissivity glass and argon or krypton. SELECTING ENERGY-EFFICIENT WINDOWS FOR YOUR HOME
The glass in the windows you purchase has everything to do with the energy cost savings and level of comfort you will experience with your new windows. Clear double-insulating glass is standard on Soft-Lite Gorell windows and doors, but you need a Soft-Lite Gorell high-performance Low-E glass system for a real difference in energy efficiency.

These ratings are used by the National Fenestration Ratings Council (NFRC) to qualify windows for the ENERGY STAR® label. The lower the U-Factor rating, the more your new windows will lower your energy consumption.
