Gorell Products—As Seen On ABC Network's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

ABOUT EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION:
The Emmy award-winning reality program Extreme Makeover: Home Edition—which is in its 9th season—airs Fridays from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. EST on ABC. The premise of the show is that Ty Pennington and his crew rebuild a home for a family in need in just one week—while the family enjoys an all-expenses-paid vacation.

Gorell Windows & Doors participated in a recent episode of ABC Network's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition(EMHE). On the episode, Ty Pennington and his crew demolished the Korpai family's home in Crawford, NY, and then—using a team of designers, contractors and hundreds of volunteer workers—completely rebuilt the entire house in just seven days.

Sixty-six Gorell StarView® new-construction double-hung and picture windows were used in this project. These windows were constructed of almond-colored vinyl and incorporated Gorell's high-performance Eco Master™ glass system—featuring double-insulating glass, SolarControl Max® Low-E and argon gas.

Gorell partnered with one of its local window dealers, Northern Windows & Siding, to install the windows for this project. Gorell's Regional Sales Manager, Charles Dorsey, was closely involved with the project as well, from getting the window order processed and delivered quickly, to hands-on volunteer work in all aspects of construction—not just the window installation.
