GORELL NOW OFFERING RADIAFLECT REFLECTIVE BUILDING INSULATION

Indiana, PA, May 18, 2010—Gorell Windows & Doors, the Pennsylvania-based residential window and door manufacturer, announced today that it is offering Radiaflect™, a line of energy-saving reflective insulation products. Radiaflect insulation products are proven effective in making homes more comfortable and lowering home energy consumption when installed as retrofit attic insulation, as a house wrap under replacement siding, or under joists in crawl spaces. Manufactured in the United States under U.S. and international patents, Radiaflect qualifies for the ENERGY STAR label, the $1,500 federal tax credit program and tax credits and rebates from states, municipalities and utilities. Radiaflect, which includes a comprehensive marketing and sales program to help generate consumer leads and explain how Radiaflect can cut the cost of homeownership, replaces Gorell’s R-Comfort line of products.

Radiaflect products feature a highly reflective aluminum facing that’s fused by a patented process to both sides of a sheet of closed-cell polyethylene foam. The result is an insulating sheet that both stops radiant heat transfer--similar to typical radiant barrier products—and limits convection and conduction heat transfer—like traditional mass insulation. These products are safe and easy to install.

Radiaflect is available through select home-improvement and window companies in Gorell’s exclusive dealer network.
