GORELL WINDOWS & DOORS EXPANDS WORKFORCE, ADDING JOBS IN INDIANA COUNTY
Indiana, PA, June 04, 2010—Gorell Windows & Doors announced that it has added 19 employees to its workforce over the past month. Eighteen manufacturing associates and one office worker have been hired, bringing the company’s total personnel number to 370. Gorell previously had recalled all of its furloughed employees at the beginning of its spring hiring season. Because of rising consumer confidence and record increases in new business acquisitions, Gorell anticipates hiring additional new production employees over the next four months.
“The economy is moving in a positive direction, and business has been improving steadily every week,” said Wayne Gorell, chairman and CEO. “We’re anticipating a very good second half of the year for 2010, and we look forward to creating more new jobs in Indiana County.”
