SOFT-LITE GORELL BRINGS GORELL MANUFACTURING TO STREETSBORO

Streetsboro, Ohio, June 18, 2012—Soft-Lite Gorell LLC has moved manufacturing of its newly acquired Gorell brand windows into Soft-Lite’s Streetsboro plant.

The company yesterday announced all lines are up and running, producing windows for Gorell customers in its modern 200,000-square-foot manufacturing plant. In April, Soft-Lite Gorell bought assets of Gorell Windows & Doors, an Indiana, Pennsylvania manufacturer, through a court ordered receivership sale. At that time Soft-Lite Gorell indicated manufacturing would be moved here.

Soft-Lite Gorell President Roy Anderson said the transition was accomplished according to plan and all customers have been assimilated into the Soft-Lite Gorell operating system.

“As we worked through the transition, the Indiana, Pa., workforce’s dedication and professionalism really impressed me with a great attitude about quality and on-time shipping to ensure customers’ needs were met,” Anderson said. “We are pleased we were able to retain some of the Gorell employees, and we appreciate the efforts of those whose work with Gorell has ended.”

Anderson also has been impressed by Gorell customers’ loyalty to the brand during the ownership and manufacturing transition.

“The lion’s share of Gorell customers remain with us and have continued to order as we brought Gorell into the Soft-Lite operations,” he said. “I look forward to continuing working on building long-lasting relationships with each and every customer as we bring new products and features to market.”

Anderson is optimistic about the future. He noted the company is debt-free with loyal customers and 294employees, and operates with state-of-the-art equipment and systems.
